Salesforce Certified AI Specialist Course FAQs

The Salesforce AI Specialist certification is designed for individuals looking to implement and optimize generative AI features within Salesforce, including Einstein AI solutions.

You can register for the exam through Salesforce’s certification portal. Exam dates are available starting September 9.

The registration fee is US$200 plus applicable taxes, with a retake fee of US$100.

The exam covers areas like the Einstein Trust Layer, Generative AI in CRM Applications, Prompt Builder, Einstein Copilot, and Model Builder.

The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and has a time limit of 105 minutes.

Salesforce recommends a combination of hands-on experience, relevant training courses, Trailhead Trails, and self-study.

There are no official prerequisites, but foundational knowledge of Salesforce and experience with AI features are recommended.

You’ll need to complete the required maintenance modules on Trailhead once a year to keep your certification current.

The passing score is still to be determined (TBD). More information will be provided closer to the exam date.
